Finding TrestlE
Curiosity is what led me to Trestle and for now curiosity is just what I have agreed to lean into. Curiosity is a gift and for me one that went without recognition or realization.
“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don't just give up.”
― Stephen Hawking
When was the last time you paused and made a list of things you are curious about? Between the demands of everyday life, media feeding you what it wants you to be curious about, and a culture that very rarely promotes pause for individualistic thinking-it’s alright if it hasn’t been anytime recently. Curiosity comes naturally for those who feel they are problem solvers, forward thinkers, and initiative takers. That is not everyone, and the world needs all kinds of people.
Curiosity with the intent to create a resolution or solve a problem is powerful. But, what about curiosity that is just because. I refer to this as the other side of curiosity.
Curiosity that has a foundation of wonder.
